A woman who had been charged with child abuse after she allegedly doused her 2-year-old son in gasoline before dousing him with gasoline and setting her own daughter on fire says she will get her money back.

Carrie Foy, 50, of the 100 block of North Lake Shore Drive in St. Paul, Minn., has pleaded guilty in Ramsey County District Court to second-degree reckless endangerment and second-level child abuse, according to court documents.

The charges stem from a Feb. 5 incident, when she and her two adult children were inside a bathtub when they found themselves surrounded by flames, according a Ramsey County attorney’s office news release.

Foy admitted she set her two children on fire and that she then doused the two in gasoline and set her daughter on a fire, according the news release, which also stated that she said the girl “should have died.”

Foy is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 27.

A hearing on the case was set for Feb. 18, according in the release.
