The Times Of India’s website is currently undergoing a makeover, and a lot of people are finding their way to the newsfeed through this change.
One of the first to get the news was Raghuram Rajan, the former chairman of the Indian central bank.
Raghuuram said that he and his wife were thrilled to be joining the news feed and to be able to see the most important stories in the country.
But there were some concerns about how news would be presented, especially with a country that still has a lot to learn.
Ramesh Jain, a professor at IIT Kanpur who specializes in India’s television industry, said that his company was trying to balance a newsroom with an audience of “many different kinds of viewers”.
Jain said that while he liked to watch television, he found the content that his team produced on the news very different to what he had seen in his own industry.
“There’s no real content for me to follow,” he said.
“I want to understand what the government is doing, and I don’t want to read anything that is not in the interest of the country.”
But, he added, the technology that was in place now makes news a lot easier.
“The way it is now, it is almost like you are watching a video of someone’s life, which is very difficult,” he explained.
“You don’t need a lot [of information] to understand something.”
