By now you’ve probably heard that the new folding door in the Google Home speaker is a new addition to the Google speaker line, and that it can fold itself into the wall for a more spacious experience.
But Google has yet to give us a price for the folding door, nor is there any official word on whether or not it’ll cost less than $30 or more.
The foldable Google Home speakers have been around for a while, and we’ve heard a lot of them already, but this new Google Home folding door is the first we’ve seen to feature foldable panels.
While Google hasn’t been shy about teasing the folding Google Home door, we’ve only seen the door in action in a few demos.

Google is apparently working on new foldable speaker models that could come to market this year, and it looks like we’ll be getting a glimpse of these folding doors this coming summer.
Google’s foldable door was unveiled back in January, but it was only just unveiled this past month.
Now that it’s here, it looks to be one of the more interesting Google Home products to see what happens with its foldable design.
Google has said that the folding doors will be available in the summer of 2017, so it looks likely that Google is planning to unveil these folding Google Homes this year.
If it does, it will likely be the first Google Home product to feature the foldable folding doors, which is a welcome feature.
