But for those who are more interested in the art of homemade gin notto, here’s how to make a gin notti from scratch, according to an article published in the March 2017 issue of Gin and Tonic magazine.
Step 1: You’ll need a gin and a lemonade pitcher, a wooden or plastic utensil, a plastic bucket, and a small metal bowl.
Step 2: Put your gin and lime juice into the bowl and add the water.
Step 3: Add a splash of white vinegar, sugar, salt, and lemon juice.
Step 4: Add the gin and mix well.
Step 5: Add more lemon juice and add more sugar and salt.
Step 6: Add water to the mix and stir until the gin is thoroughly mixed.
Step 7: Pour the gin into the bucket, then add a little more sugar, and salt and stir.
Step 8: Cover the jug and leave it to ferment in the fridge for one week.
Step 9: You can now serve it in a glass bottle and keep it in the refrigerator for up to a month.
